About Lyrik

Lyrik is a different kind of naming firm. I don’t have a big staff or an office in New York or San Francisco. I don’t do brand development, web design, or marketing. I don’t deliver a ton of names for each project. And I won't blow out your budget like big naming firms can. In fact, I don’t charge my corporate clients at all if they don’t use any of my names. And I don't charge my small business clients if their trademark lawyers say the names aren't clear. But I'm confident they'll be clear. Before I started Lyrik I practiced intellectual property law for more than two decades, including fifteen years as in-house trademark counsel for Microsoft Corporation and Sun Microsystems. My focus and favorite work in those roles was helping business teams create and choose powerful brand names and making sure they were legally clear. And that's my focus now: delivering a select number of brand names for each project that drive your naming strategy and make your trademark lawyers happy.
